Transliteration

sāvitryā prītayā dattā sāvitryāḥ pūjayā tathā | sāvitrītyeva nāmā'syāścakre viprājñayā nṛpaḥ

Translation

Accordée par Sāvitrī, satisfaite, et obtenue par le culte rendu à Sāvitrī, cette fille vint au monde. Le roi, sur l’avis des brahmanes, lui donna précisément le nom de « Sāvitrī ».
