yastu bhuñjati śūdrānnaṃ māsamekaṃ nirantaram | iha janmani śūdratvaṃ mṛtaḥ śūdro'bhijāyate
Quiconque mange sans interruption, durant un mois, la nourriture d’un Śūdra, acquiert en cette vie même la condition de Śūdra ; et, après la mort, il renaît Śūdra.
