Skanda (deduced, emphasizing simplicity of offerings in Sūrya worship)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Bhānu-pūjā)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A humble devotee offers fresh dūrvā sprouts at sunrise to Bhānu; the sun’s rays descend like blessings, visually outweighing grand sacrificial paraphernalia shown faintly in the background.
Sincere devotion sanctifies even the simplest offering; the deity responds to bhakti more than material grandeur.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra’s Bhānu/Bhāskara worship tradition within the Māhātmya.
Offer dūrvā sprouts with devotion in Sūrya pūjā; the emphasis is on bhakti rather than expensive rites.
