Skanda (deduced from Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa māhātmya narration style)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa (with Bhānu/Gopyāditya worship)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A household lineage scene: elders and youth together at dawn offering arghya to the rising sun; ancestral figures subtly shown in the background receiving light, symbolizing kula-pāvana.
Devotional worship of the Sun is portrayed as so elevating that it sanctifies not only the devotee but also the devotee’s family line.
The larger frame is the Prabhāsakṣetra-māhātmya, linking Sun-worship to the sanctity of Prabhāsa.
The prescription is upāsanā (worship) of Bhānu with bhakti-bhāva (devotional intent).
