Vālakhilyas (continuation of their hymn)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee addresses the Lord as the moving power of the cosmos; the brahmāṇḍa with stars, planets, and beings subtly turns as the deity’s radiant rays wash over waters and land, rendering them luminous and pure.
Divine radiance sustains and purifies creation; aligning life with that cosmic order leads to inner and outer śauca (purity).
Prabhāsa-kṣetra is the māhātmya context, presenting the sacred landscape as resonant with Sūrya’s purifying, world-sustaining power.
No explicit prescription; the verse supports practices of Sūrya-namaskāra, stotra, and contemplation on śauca through divine light.
