Type: kshetra
Listener: Sages
Scene: Abstract-devotional visualization: a radiant, formless presence filling the sky-space; a white haṃsa gliding over a still lake; the deity suggested as pure light beyond worldly web.
The Supreme is pure, all-pervading, and beyond worldly entanglement; remembering this purifies the listener before tīrtha-glorification.
The verse is a theological preface; the chapter proceeds to the greatness of Prabhāsakṣetra.
No explicit ritual; it models contemplative praise (stuti) as preparation for hearing māhātmya.
