चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । हरिभक्तिविहीनानां द्वादशीव्रतवर्जिनाम् । नाशं न याति प्रेतत्वं पूजितैः शंकरादिभिः

candraśarmovāca | haribhaktivihīnānāṃ dvādaśīvratavarjinām | nāśaṃ na yāti pretatvaṃ pūjitaiḥ śaṃkarādibhiḥ

Candraśarman dit : «Ceux qui sont dépourvus de dévotion envers Hari et qui abandonnent le vœu de Dvādaśī ne voient pas leur état de preta détruit, même s’ils vénèrent Śaṅkara et d’autres divinités».
