प्रह्लाद उवाच । तदाप्रभृति विप्रेंद्राः स कूपो नृगसंज्ञया । वरदानाच्च कृष्णस्य पावनः सर्वदेहिनाम्

prahlāda uvāca | tadāprabhṛti vipreṃdrāḥ sa kūpo nṛgasaṃjñayā | varadānācca kṛṣṇasya pāvanaḥ sarvadehinām

Prahlāda dit : « Dès lors, ô le meilleur des brāhmaṇas, ce puits fut connu sous le nom de “Nṛga” ; et, par la grâce accordée par Kṛṣṇa, il devint un purificateur pour tous les êtres incarnés. »
