यदि दृष्टिपथात्तुभ्यं क्वचिद्यास्यंति दूरतः । मानवान्पीडयिष्यंति चिरात्प्राप्याधिकं ततः

yadi dṛṣṭipathāttubhyaṃ kvacidyāsyaṃti dūrataḥ | mānavānpīḍayiṣyaṃti cirātprāpyādhikaṃ tataḥ

S’ils venaient à échapper à la portée de ton regard et à s’en aller au loin, ils tourmenteraient les hommes ; et, après longtemps, ils en tireraient une force plus grande encore.
