एतस्मात्कारणादस्य निग्रहोऽयं मया कृतः । मनसा न च वाक्येन न च केशव कर्मणा
etasmātkāraṇādasya nigraho'yaṃ mayā kṛtaḥ | manasā na ca vākyena na ca keśava karmaṇā
« C’est pour cette raison que je lui ai imposé cette contrainte ; mais, ô Keśava, je n’ai pas agi par malveillance personnelle : ni par la pensée, ni par la parole, ni par l’acte. »
