मुनय ऊचुः । कथं तस्य गतौ पक्षौ गरुडस्य महात्मनः । पुनर्लब्धौ कथं तेन कथं तुष्टो महेश्वरः । एतन्नो विस्तराद्ब्रूहि सूतपुत्र यथातथम्
munaya ūcuḥ | kathaṃ tasya gatau pakṣau garuḍasya mahātmanaḥ | punarlabdhau kathaṃ tena kathaṃ tuṣṭo maheśvaraḥ | etanno vistarādbrūhi sūtaputra yathātatham
Les sages dirent : « Comment le grand Garuḍa perdit-il ses ailes ? Comment les recouvra-t-il ensuite ? Et comment Maheśvara fut-il satisfait ? Dis-le-nous en détail, ô fils de Sūta, exactement comme cela advint. »
