कथं शक्रस्य संजाता गतिस्तत्र भृगूद्वह । न भविष्यति मे ब्रूहि कथं साऽद्य महामते
kathaṃ śakrasya saṃjātā gatistatra bhṛgūdvaha | na bhaviṣyati me brūhi kathaṃ sā'dya mahāmate
«Ô le meilleur des Bhṛgus, comment Śakra (Indra) a-t-il obtenu là-bas un tel état béni ? Dis-le-moi clairement : comment cette même obtention ne viendrait-elle pas à moi aujourd’hui, ô grand d’esprit ?»
