हतशेषैः सुरैः सार्धं सर्वांगक्षतविक्षतैः । ततो जगाम वित्रस्तो ब्रह्मलोकं दिवा लयात्

hataśeṣaiḥ suraiḥ sārdhaṃ sarvāṃgakṣatavikṣataiḥ | tato jagāma vitrasto brahmalokaṃ divā layāt

Alors, avec les dieux survivants—blessés et meurtris en tous leurs membres—il s’en alla, saisi de crainte, vers Brahmaloka, abandonnant derrière lui le séjour céleste.
