ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । एतत्स्वल्पतरं क्षेत्रं सर्वेषामपि भूभुजाम् । प्रासादैः सर्वतो व्याप्तं तत्किं ब्रूमोऽधुना वयम्

brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | etatsvalpataraṃ kṣetraṃ sarveṣāmapi bhūbhujām | prāsādaiḥ sarvato vyāptaṃ tatkiṃ brūmo'dhunā vayam

Les Brāhmaṇas dirent : «Ce kṣetra sacré est bien trop exigu pour tous les rois. De toutes parts il est déjà rempli de temples ; que pourrions-nous dire à présent ?»
