Transliteration

jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

Translation

Jamadagni dit : «Ô roi, voici ma vache du homa, mon unique trésor, chère comme la vie même. Elle ne doit jamais être donnée ; elle doit toujours être honorée et vénérée. Aussi ne dois-tu pas la demander.»
