सूत उवाच । ततश्च कौतुकाविष्टः स नृपो द्विजसत्तमाः । बाढमित्येव संप्रोच्य तस्मिन्नेवाश्रमे स्थितः

sūta uvāca | tataśca kautukāviṣṭaḥ sa nṛpo dvijasattamāḥ | bāḍhamityeva saṃprocya tasminnevāśrame sthitaḥ

Sūta dit : Alors le roi, saisi de curiosité, répondit : « Qu’il en soit ainsi », et demeura sur-le-champ dans ce même āśrama, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés.
