तद्दुःखं न वयं शक्ता हृदि धर्तुं कथंचन । रमते स हि रोहिण्या चंद्रमाः सहितोऽनिशम्

Transliteration

tadduḥkhaṃ na vayaṃ śaktā hṛdi dhartuṃ kathaṃcana | ramate sa hi rohiṇyā caṃdramāḥ sahito'niśam

Translation

«Nous ne pouvons, d’aucune manière, porter cette douleur dans notre cœur ; car la Lune se réjouit sans cesse, ne tenant compagnie qu’à Rohiṇī.»
