Transliteration

tasya bhāryā'bhavatsādhvī prāṇebhyo'pi garīyasī | sarvalakṣaṇasaṃpannā pativrataparāyaṇā

Translation

Son épouse était une sādhvī, femme de vertu, plus chère à ses yeux que la vie même. Dotée de tous les signes auspicieux, elle était tout entière vouée au dharma de la pativratā : la fidélité et le service dévot envers l’époux.
