Transliteration

vyāghraḥ kṣutkṣāmakaṇṭhaśca tasyā mārgāvalokakaḥ | saṃraṃbhāṭopasaṃyuktaḥ sṛkkiṇī parilehayan

Translation

Le tigre, la gorge amaigrie par la faim, guettait le chemin qu’elle emprunterait—gonflé de fureur et d’orgueil, léchant les commissures de sa gueule.
