विशेषेण ददौ दानं ब्राह्मणेभ्यो महीपतिः । भूमिशायी प्रशांतात्मा षष्ठकालकृताशनः

viśeṣeṇa dadau dānaṃ brāhmaṇebhyo mahīpatiḥ | bhūmiśāyī praśāṃtātmā ṣaṣṭhakālakṛtāśanaḥ

Avec une intention toute particulière, le seigneur du pays fit l’aumône aux brāhmaṇas; couchant à même le sol, l’âme apaisée, il ne prenait nourriture qu’à la sixième fois, après de longs intervalles de jeûne.
