Type: kshetra
Listener: Indra (Purandara/Sahasrākṣa)
Scene: A devotee (or Indra as exemplar) begins on Aśūnyaśayanā and continues four months of worship before Jalaśāyī Viṣṇu; scenes show daily offerings, lamps, flowers, and meditative posture, culminating in boon-bestowal.
Sustained devotion—worship plus inner meditation—performed according to śāstra ripens into fulfillment of rightful desires.
The glorification centers on a water-associated sacred setting suitable for worship of Jalaśāyī Viṣṇu, as framed by the chapter’s tīrtha narrative.
Worship Viṣṇu starting on this dvitīyā and continue for four months, maintaining meditation and observing the vow according to śāstric procedure.
