Transliteration

sa jñātvā nagare tatra brāhmaṇaṃ śaṃsitavratam | sarveṣāṃ brāhmaṇeṃdrāṇāṃ madhye dākṣiṇyabhājanam

Translation

Là, il apprit que, dans cette cité, vivait un brāhmaṇa renommé pour ses vœux sacrés ; parmi les plus éminents brāhmaṇas, il était digne de recevoir révérence et dons pieux.
