Mahādeva (Śiva) (deduced from immediate narrative context of promises about the liṅga)
Type: kshetra
Listener: General pilgrims/mortals (martyāḥ)
Scene: The deity speaks from/through the liṅga, promising fulfilment to any mortal who worships with devotion; a pilgrim offers flowers and lamp, eyes closed in prayer.
Devotional worship at a sanctified seat of Śiva is portrayed as directly efficacious—merit answers sincere inner aspiration.
The particular liṅga-tīrtha of Nāgarakhaṇḍa, Adhyāya 30, where Śiva is said to be specially present.
Pūjā (worship) performed with bhakti at the liṅga in that place.
