Transliteration

atha sarpākṛtiṃ māṃ ca duḥkhena mahatānvitam | taṭasthaṃ bhayasaṃtrastaṃ tathā sarvajanaṃ tadā

Translation

Alors (il vit) que j’étais sous forme de serpent, accablé d’une grande douleur, me tenant à l’écart, saisi de peur ; et tout le peuple, en ce moment-là, était pareillement épouvanté.
