वेष्टयामास भोगेन निश्चलस्य महात्मनः । एतस्मिन्नंतरे शिष्यस्तस्यासीत्सुतपोऽन्वितः

veṣṭayāmāsa bhogena niścalasya mahātmanaḥ | etasminnaṃtare śiṣyastasyāsītsutapo'nvitaḥ

Le serpent s’enroula autour de la grande âme, demeurée immobile, la ceignant de ses anneaux. Cependant, son disciple, pourvu d’une austérité excellente, se trouvait là.
