ब्राह्मणानां गवां चैव कुलमेकं द्विधा स्थितम् । एकत्र मन्त्रास्तिष्ठंति हविरेकत्र संस्थितम्

brāhmaṇānāṃ gavāṃ caiva kulamekaṃ dvidhā sthitam | ekatra mantrāstiṣṭhaṃti havirekatra saṃsthitam

La lignée des brāhmaṇas et celle des vaches est une, bien qu’elle se tienne en deux formes : en un lieu demeurent les mantras, et en l’autre est établi le havis, l’offrande sacrée.
