यस्मात्पाप त्वया स्पृष्टा प्रसुप्ताहं रजस्वला । बकधर्मं समाश्रित्य भर्त्ता मे वंचितस्त्वया । अन्यरूपं समास्थाय तस्मात्सत्यं बको भव
yasmātpāpa tvayā spṛṣṭā prasuptāhaṃ rajasvalā | bakadharmaṃ samāśritya bharttā me vaṃcitastvayā | anyarūpaṃ samāsthāya tasmātsatyaṃ bako bhava
«Parce que toi, ô pécheur, tu m’as touchée pendant mon sommeil, alors que j’étais dans mes règles ; et qu’en te réfugiant dans la “voie de la grue” tu as trompé mon époux—ainsi, prenant une autre forme, deviens véritablement une grue (baka) !»
