नित्यं पराजयो जज्ञे देवानां दानवैः सह । तत्रोवाच गुरुः शक्र मा युद्धं कुरु देवप
nityaṃ parājayo jajñe devānāṃ dānavaiḥ saha | tatrovāca guruḥ śakra mā yuddhaṃ kuru devapa
Sans cesse, la défaite s’abattait sur les Devas dans leur lutte contre les Dānavas. Alors le Guru dit à Śakra : «Ô seigneur des Devas, ne mène pas cette guerre.»
