तस्मिंस्तपसि संस्थे तु हता इंद्रेण दानवाः । वंशोच्छेदे समापन्ने दानवानां महात्मनाम्

tasmiṃstapasi saṃsthe tu hatā iṃdreṇa dānavāḥ | vaṃśocchede samāpanne dānavānāṃ mahātmanām

Tandis qu’il demeurait établi dans cette austérité, les Dānavas furent tués par Indra, et la lignée des Dānavas au grand cœur parvint au bord de l’extinction.
