देहस्योत्सर्जनान्नित्यं नरयज्ञः प्रकीर्तितः । पंचेंद्रियपशून्हत्वाऽनग्नौ शीर्षे च कुण्डले

dehasyotsarjanānnityaṃ narayajñaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | paṃceṃdriyapaśūnhatvā'nagnau śīrṣe ca kuṇḍale

Par le constant “dépouillement” de l’attachement au corps, le nara-yajña est proclamé. Ayant “immolé” les cinq bêtes des sens—sans feu extérieur—le yogin porte les marques sur la tête et les boucles d’oreilles, signes du rite intérieur.
