Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 76

कणौं पिधाय मर्त्यस्य नादरूपं विचिन्वतः । तदेव प्रणवस्याग्रं तदेव ब्रह्म शाश्वतम्

kaṇauṃ pidhāya martyasya nādarūpaṃ vicinvataḥ | tadeva praṇavasyāgraṃ tadeva brahma śāśvatam

Pour le mortel qui ferme les oreilles et contemple la forme du son (nāda), ce son intérieur est l’essence suprême du Praṇava (Oṃ) ; c’est là le Brahman éternel.
