न कथ्येयं यस्य कस्य सुतस्याप्य परस्य च । अदांतायाथ दुष्टाय चलचित्ताय दांभिके

na kathyeyaṃ yasya kasya sutasyāpya parasya ca | adāṃtāyātha duṣṭāya calacittāya dāṃbhike

Cet enseignement ne doit pas être transmis à n’importe qui—pas même à son propre fils, et encore moins à autrui. Qu’on ne le dise ni à l’indiscipliné, ni au méchant, ni à l’esprit changeant, ni à l’hypocrite.
