Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva, pleased, invites Pārvatī to ascend a splendid vimāna; they depart toward a secluded region where he will narrate the supreme sacred glory.
Spiritual truths and tīrtha-glories are revealed through divine guidance to the sincere, described here as ‘suvrata’ (steadfast in vows).
The verse announces an upcoming revelation; the tīrtha is identified as the narrative proceeds in Adhyāya 261.
No specific rite is prescribed; the emphasis is on approaching the sacred in purity of vow and receptivity.
