यमो विभीतकं चैव बकुलं नैरृताधिपः । वरुणः खर्जुरीवृक्षं पूगवृक्षं च मारुतः

yamo vibhītakaṃ caiva bakulaṃ nairṛtādhipaḥ | varuṇaḥ kharjurīvṛkṣaṃ pūgavṛkṣaṃ ca mārutaḥ

Yama demeure dans l’arbre vibhītaka ; le seigneur de la direction de Nirṛti, dans l’arbre bakula. Varuṇa demeure dans le palmier-dattier, et Māruta (Vāyu) dans l’arbre d’arec.
