Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 28
सूत उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा स पिता सुतवत्सलः । सर्वस्वं प्रददौ रुष्टो मरणे कृतनिश्चयः
sūta uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā sa pitā sutavatsalaḥ | sarvasvaṃ pradadau ruṣṭo maraṇe kṛtaniścayaḥ
Sūta dit : Connaissant sa résolution, le père—bien qu’aimant son fils—dans sa colère donna tous ses biens, ayant pris la décision ferme de mourir.
