Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 18

अतस्ताभ्यां समेताभ्यां धर्मादीनां समागमः । यदोभयोर्मते पृष्टे संतुष्टाः पितृदेवताः

atastābhyāṃ sametābhyāṃ dharmādīnāṃ samāgamaḥ | yadobhayormate pṛṣṭe saṃtuṣṭāḥ pitṛdevatāḥ

Ainsi, lorsque les deux sont unis, le dharma et les vertus qui l’accompagnent convergent pleinement; et lorsque les affaires sont entreprises avec l’assentiment des deux, les divinités ancestrales sont satisfaites.
