Skanda (deduced)
Type: kshetra
Listener: viprāgrya (foremost brāhmaṇa)
Scene: A foremost brāhmaṇa is addressed; the pilgrim’s outer journey is shown as complete (staff, waterpot set down), and the yogin sits in meditation on ṣoḍaśī with a subtle divine radiance indicating sāyujya.
Outer pilgrimage is crowned by inner yoga: the ritual journey culminates in contemplation of divine union.
The verse references 'that tīrtha' within the chapter’s context; the snippet alone does not specify the tīrtha name.
Consider the tīrtha-visit rites complete, and on ṣoḍaśī meditate on deva-sāyujya (union with the deity).
