Skanda (deduced; address to “munīśvara” indicates instruction to a sage interlocutor)
Listener: munīśvara (addressed)
Scene: A sage (yati) seated calmly, depicted with a subtle Viṣṇu aura; a pilgrim offers ācamana water in a small vessel, then presents folded garments on Saptamī while other pilgrims watch in reverence.
Serving holy renunciants as embodiments of Viṣṇu and dedicating charity to Viṣṇu are both upheld as devotional dharma.
No named tīrtha appears in this verse; it continues the chapter’s general tīrtha-based vrata guidance.
Give ācamana-water to a yati (seen as Viṣṇu’s form), and perform vastra-dāna on saptamī for Viṣṇu.
