ततः सपिंडीकरणं वत्सरा दूर्ध्वतः स्थितम् । वृद्धिर्वाऽगामिनी चेत्स्यात्तदार्वागपि कारयेत्
tataḥ sapiṃḍīkaraṇaṃ vatsarā dūrdhvataḥ sthitam | vṛddhirvā'gāminī cetsyāttadārvāgapi kārayet
Ensuite, le sapiṇḍīkaraṇa (rite qui unit le défunt à la lignée des piṇḍa des ancêtres) est prescrit après une année. Mais si une autre mort menace dans la lignée, on peut l’accomplir plus tôt.
