Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 49

एता एवाशिषः सन्तु विश्वेदेवाः प्रीयंतां ततः । स्वस्त्यर्थमुदकं दद्यात्पितृपूर्वं च सव्यतः

etā evāśiṣaḥ santu viśvedevāḥ prīyaṃtāṃ tataḥ | svastyarthamudakaṃ dadyātpitṛpūrvaṃ ca savyataḥ

Que ces bénédictions mêmes s’accomplissent ; que les Viśvedevas soient satisfaits. Ensuite, pour l’auspice, on offrira l’eau—en commençant par les Pitṛs (ancêtres) et du côté gauche (savyataḥ).
