Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 27
कुरुष्वेति च तैः प्रोक्ते गत्वाग्नि शरणं ततः । अग्नये कव्यवाहनाय स्वाहेति प्रथमाहुतिः
kuruṣveti ca taiḥ prokte gatvāgni śaraṇaṃ tataḥ | agnaye kavyavāhanāya svāheti prathamāhutiḥ
Lorsqu’ils disent : « Fais-le », alors il s’approche du refuge du Feu. La première oblation est offerte avec : « À Agni, porteur des kavyas, svāhā. »
