अद्यप्रभृति यः श्राद्धं त्रयोदश्यां करिष्यति । कन्यासंस्थे सहस्रांशौ तस्य स्याद्वंशसंक्षयः
adyaprabhṛti yaḥ śrāddhaṃ trayodaśyāṃ kariṣyati | kanyāsaṃsthe sahasrāṃśau tasya syādvaṃśasaṃkṣayaḥ
«Dès aujourd’hui, quiconque accomplira le Śrāddha en trayodaśī lorsque le Soleil—aux mille rayons—se tiendra en Kanyā (la Vierge), verra sa lignée s’éteindre.»
