तस्माद्वद महाभाग यदि जानासि तत्त्वतः । न चेद्गुह्यतमं किंचित्पृच्छामस्त्वां कुतूहलात्
tasmādvada mahābhāga yadi jānāsi tattvataḥ | na cedguhyatamaṃ kiṃcitpṛcchāmastvāṃ kutūhalāt
"Parle donc, ô fortuné, si tu connais vraiment la réalité. Sinon, nous t'interrogeons sur une matière très secrète — par curiosité sacrée."
