Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 67
पितुः पितामहस्यैव तत्पितुश्च ततः परम् । समुद्देशेन दत्तेन ब्राह्मणेभ्यः प्रभक्तितः
pituḥ pitāmahasyaiva tatpituśca tataḥ param | samuddeśena dattena brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prabhaktitaḥ
Pour le père, le grand-père et le père de celui-ci, et au-delà encore : lorsqu’un don est offert aux brāhmaṇas avec une dévotion sincère, en nommant explicitement les ancêtres dans la dédicace, cette offrande leur parvient.
