पुत्रस्तव महाभागे जीवसूक्तप्रभावतः । एष सर्वागणानां च मदीयानां सुरेश्वरि । भविष्यति सदाऽध्यक्ष स्तस्माच्च गणनायकः
putrastava mahābhāge jīvasūktaprabhāvataḥ | eṣa sarvāgaṇānāṃ ca madīyānāṃ sureśvari | bhaviṣyati sadā'dhyakṣa stasmācca gaṇanāyakaḥ
«Ô Déesse très fortunée, par la puissance du Jīva-sūkta, celui-ci sera ton fils. Et, ô Reine des dieux, il sera à jamais le surveillant de tous mes gaṇas ; c’est pourquoi on l’appellera Gaṇa-nāyaka, le chef des troupes.»
