Scene: Devotees present baskets of ripe fruits before a radiant Sūrya image; a formerly afflicted person is shown restored, skin clear, hands folded in gratitude.
Disciplined devotion—right offering and right measure—joined to sacred place and deity, is praised as swiftly fruit-bearing.
The benefit is tied to the Mārtaṇḍa of Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra described in this chapter.
Offer excellent fruits in appropriate, specified measures (as per rite) alongside the prescribed circumambulation.
