गौतमोऽपि च तद्दृष्ट्वा सम्यग्भार्याविचेष्टितम् । ददौ शापं महाराज कोपसंरक्तलोचनः

gautamo'pi ca taddṛṣṭvā samyagbhāryāviceṣṭitam | dadau śāpaṃ mahārāja kopasaṃraktalocanaḥ

Ô Roi, Gautama aussi, ayant vu clairement la conduite indigne touchant son épouse, les yeux rougis de colère, proféra une malédiction.
