Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim residing in the holy city: calm face, hands in añjali, refusing provocation; a calendar-like motif shows five nights leading to a celestial ascent, and a month culminating in a luminous liberation scene near the liṅga.
The tīrtha’s fruit is maximized by inner discipline: angerlessness in a holy kṣetra yields heavenly merit and even liberation.
The ‘there’ refers to the Hāṭakeśvara kṣetra described in Adhyāya 206.
A vrata-like discipline is implied: reside in the kṣetra for five nights (or up to a month) while avoiding anger.
