Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 36

सन्तप्यंते ततो द्वेषं प्रकुर्वंति परस्परम् । किं न श्रुतं भवद्भिस्तु यथा रामः सलक्ष्मणः । सीतया सह संप्राप्तो विरोधं परमं गतः

santapyaṃte tato dveṣaṃ prakurvaṃti parasparam | kiṃ na śrutaṃ bhavadbhistu yathā rāmaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ | sītayā saha saṃprāpto virodhaṃ paramaṃ gataḥ

Alors ils brûlent au-dedans d’eux-mêmes et suscitent la haine les uns envers les autres. N’avez-vous pas entendu comment Rāma, avec Lakṣmaṇa, étant arrivé avec Sītā, tomba dans un très grand conflit ?
