ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । अस्माभिस्तेन दोषेण त्यक्तं स्थानं निजं हि तत् । बहुतीर्थसमोपेतं स्वर्गमार्गप्रदर्शकम्

Transliteration

brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | asmābhistena doṣeṇa tyaktaṃ sthānaṃ nijaṃ hi tat | bahutīrthasamopetaṃ svargamārgapradarśakam

Translation

Les brāhmaṇas dirent : «À cause de cette faute, nous avons abandonné notre propre demeure—ce lieu même, orné de nombreux tīrthas, qui révèle la voie menant au ciel.»
